The mission of CSDBPA is to provide a safe space for our parents to share issues, concerns, highlight ideas and formulate action plans regarding keeping CSD administration, school board and faculty responsible and accountable to the health, safety and success of our children. There are CSDBPA representatives at all ten schools in the system holding volunteer positions ranging from room parent to PTA/PTO officers, to Senior Leadership Team member. We serve as the creators of and clearinghouse for ideas, resources and best practices to increase equitable educational opportunities.

We are looking for more parents to join our organization to increase resource connections and build the strength of our community. Email us at to tell us about yourself and to learn more about becoming a member. Membership is FREE and open to any parent or guardian of CSD students who identify as Black or African American. We look forward to hearing from you.
