STARStudents Talk About RaceA diverse group of Decatur High School students are conducting a conversation about race, taking place on Monday, December 7 at 6 pm. This conversation will allow for an open and safe space for students of all races to talk about why their voice matters in a community of bias. It will be completely student led, but will allow for all students to talk and listen in a productive manner. Scan the QR code or join the Google Classroom to access the Zoom link. Mark your calendars! Have your student attend!! Contact for questions or additional information.

Holiday Season
Neighbors Helping NeighborsThis is a SignUpGenius created by concerned neighbors in Decatur (started March 2020) to provide lunches during the Coronavirus COVIDd-19 pandemic to those experiencing homelessness and/or food insecurity (focusing on the downtown Decatur area because that’s where we live).

A Home for Everyone: A Collaborative Initiative on HomelessnessCold Weather Assistance for our Neighbors. Over the past two years, A Home For Everyone In DeKalb has opened cold weather shelters for our homeless community, but this year COVID prevents us from doing so. We still plan, though, to protect people the very best we can. With your help, we hope to provide Sleeping bags and blankets, other items in a “survival kit”, and more.
