Today was the Opening Day of our Equity Pods! Y’all our kids are amazing! They were so open, kind, respectful, well mannered and just all-around cool kids. The only thing more gratifying than creating a space like this to meet a need and seeing it come together is experiencing it firsthand with the kids. This wouldn’t have happened without a lot of hard work from dedicated parent members of CSD Black Parents Alliance, the generosity of Gathered and Grounded and The Decatur Education Foundation, and the parents who are trusting us with their babies.
