About Us

Welcome to the City Schools of Decatur Black Parents Alliance (CSDBPA.)

This group was founded by several parents of students within the City Schools of Decatur system who identify as Black or African American.

Our mission is to provide a safe space for our parents to share issues, concerns, highlight ideas, and formulate action plans regarding keeping the CSD administration, school board, and faculty responsible and accountable for the health, safety and success of our children.

You are encouraged to use this organization to communicate with other parents in the CSD system (College Heights, Clairemont, Westchester, Glennwood, Winnona Park, Oakhurst, F.AVE, Talley Street, Renfroe and Decatur High) to share information and ideas.
